Spontaneous Combustion Atlanta 4:
A Festival of Improvisation
The Hottest Ideas in Improv! Spark your imagination
Spontaneous Combustion Atlanta is a festival of improvised theater
performed for the general public and featuring established and emerging actors
from theater, television and film who have their roots in improv.
Spontaneous Combustion is the brain-child of Becky Brett (Chicago) and Jstar (Atlanta)
who met at the Chicago Improv Festival in 2006. With Brett’s 10 years of festival
producing experience (including six with the venerable Chicago Improv Festival)
and Jstar’s decade of improv experience throughout the nation,
the two decided to create a new improv festival for Atlanta—
one that would draw more general public than improv insiders and
would introduce those audiences to the Art of improvisation
as well as bring the funny.
